Blessing of the Graves
We warmly invite you to join us for the annual Blessing of the Graves ceremony at Oak Hill Lawn Cemetery and Crematorium on Sunday 2 November 2025.
The afternoon will begin with light refreshments served in our chapel, offering a time for quiet reflection and fellowship. Following this, Canon Norbert Fernandez will offer a short address to the congregation before leading you into the cemetery grounds for the traditional blessing of the graves.
This meaningful event provides families and loved ones an opportunity to honour and remember those who have passed, in a peaceful and prayerful setting.
All are welcome to attend.
The chapel will open at 1:00 PM for light refreshments.
The service will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by a procession to the gravesides for individual blessings.
The chapel doors will close after the service concludes, but the outside toilets will remain open until 4:30 PM, when the cemetery closes.
