A direct service cremation is a cremation that takes place without any prior funeral service or ceremony.

Our direct service cremations cost £500.

A Virtual Memorial Service (VMS) is also included in the price.

Virtual Memorial Service (VMS)

Our VMS is available at no extra cost when you choose our direct service, priced at £500. This package is designed to support non-attended ceremonies.

How it works:

  • Arranging the service: if you wish to include the VMS package, a funeral director will meet with your family to complete the necessary form and send it directly to the Obitus team.

  • Personal touches: the package includes:

    • A single photo
    • A poem (choose from 10 options)
    • Entrance music
    • A visual tribute

  • Service details: the direct service will be conducted in the morning. The recorded footage will be sent to your family within 24-48 hours, allowing you to watch and keep it.
