Oak Hill Lawn Cemetery
Conveniently located less than 1 mile from junction 2 on the A1M, in the Hertfordshire greenbelt, Oak Hill Lawn Cemetery and gardens offer a space that is both attractive and accessible.
The Lawn Cemetery was first founded in 1984 providing burial and cremation plots, it has recieved multiple awards including the prestigious Green Flag Award.
As part of the new development in 2023, the cemetery has been redesigned to include more beautifully landscaped garden options for remembering loved ones.
Families can choose from either a range of beautiful memorials available across our four gardens, or our communal garden area for scattering ashes.
When visitors enter the cemetery they see an pleasant open green space, landscaped with planting and trees, with views across the cemetery and the valley beyond.
Wildlife at Oak Hill
Oak Hill is a tranquil place surrounded by green open space and is also a wonderful home for wildlife.

Bats have been sighted in the area and we have put up special bat boxes at the crematorium for them to roost in.
Herons, Common Linnets and other unusual birds are also becoming regular visitors to our site.
The pond contains numerous large goldfish and is a focal point for local wildlife. The site hosts many great crested newts, receives daily duck visits, has pigeons occupying the kestrel box, and an owl is frequently observed in the area.
